Our 3-best of Langkawi getaway

What are the best 3 things happened during our 4D3N holiday in Langkawi early Nov at Dayang Service Apartment in Kuah?

A. Me

1. being truly lazy without any guilt. Why? no laundry, cleaning to think of.

2. bought 2 dozens of stainless steel cutlery sets. my kitchen wish list almost complete *smile*

3. spending time with dst mite, ian & zaeem are never enough. observing their expression, joy & respond to the flight, swimming & shopping experience in a different environment are just priceless. 

B. dst mite

1. bought new Converse sneakers. Its his 3rd pair in a row after Crocs & Timberland. Re-branding syndrome post weight loss, me no objection!.

2. swimming with zaeem. he looovves it

3. he got peed by Zaeem. He suddenly felt warm & wet. Notty Zaeem!!

C. Ian

1.  he loves the big swimming pool. He swims better now & love to watch him having fun in the water

2. he completed 2-legos Green Lantern & Joker by himself!!

3. he enjoyed the plane ride & stay at the "hotel house"

D. Zaeem

1. marking his territory with his 2-lower teeth as a sign of 'i was here'. its a masterpiece but also a vandalism by a minor too hehe.. 

2. 1st plain ride. he started with lots of anxiety yet playful. had few eek here & there but suddenly he fell asleep. Nenen helps too

3. 1st swimming at the pool 

Mak Yam a good company too. Wont enjoy without her.

The 2 things happened that makes my heart dropped to my stomach are:

1. we lost ian at the duty free shop. it was a short 2-3 minutes but I felt like collapsing in the middle of the shop. he missed me when i make an L turn to the Corning section. he called our names to search. gratefully, the sales girl saw him & papa dst mite found him crying. big relief but i didnt sleep well that nite. woke up at 4 am feeling guilty.

2. the lousy 3G led us to Bukit Raya out of nowhere instead to Chenang. we drove for 20 mins til 8.45 pm into a quiet road with no incoming car. surrounding was pitch black. we realized we were climbing up a winding foothill with the road light dimmed. our dead silence in the car was broken when the waze lady said 'u have reached ur destination'. stunnef! looked left-right ; all dark, felt eerie. quickly u-turn & we cursed the waze. with our guts, we found our way to Chenang in 15 mins. kutuk Mak Yam kejap since she navigated us. the poor 3G signal failed us. but thinking back, its funny now hehe..

Love it! Our next trip to Langkawi will be in Chenang or other beach side either in Datai Bay or Meritus. It will be a luxurious deluxe room with sea view. The boys will be bigger to enjoy the beach activities like jet skying or para-gliding. And Ill be completing my kitchen wishlist as my bigger kitchen space permits *wink*
