the best birthday treat

+hhmmm...memang la tak nak balik rumah ZZzz...+

as usual my birthday is more on sentimental subdued mood. i always feel that an uplifting day will enlighten my birthday mood - what more than to kick start the day with a great morning. i happen to be in le meridien kota kinabalu for my regional engagement session, and kk is my last regional round. since i'm returning home the next day (which fall on my birthday, hurray!) so i woke up early to catch the sunrise. dominating the cute pool (small though, for the hotel standard) i romantically swam by the morning sunrise. the pool is at the roof top, so the view was definitely spectacular and dramatic. sedih pun ada sebab papa dst mite & yeyen not around to cherish all this. hu...hu... to top it off, i went for sauna which was also great because no one around. (boleh buat aksi ngeri la sikit) and showering & pampering the whole morning like i actually own the place. by the end of the session, it's already 8 am and half of me was sleepy (penat from the workout & sauna), but the other part of me was roaring hungry. had a decent breakfast with su, packed my stuff and ready to leave for the airport.

ooohh...the night before was a heavy duty for my tummy. ate a lot of seafood at filipino night market. basic salt & pepper with sambal kicap cili. tapi terangkat woh!! smoking hot. before balik, beli sayur for home. hehe.. grab last pieces of leek and a bag of baby cabbage. and bungkus ABC. the afternoon earlier i managed to but keropok melinjo mentah, dried scallop (1kg for RM35) and biskut cincin. boleh tahan jugak share 1 box with su, dia siap dgn ikan masin lagi.

+jangan betulkan mata anda, the place is intended to be smoking with char-grilled seafood everywhere. food is marvelous, spoilt for choice (though all look the same from stall to stall)+

+aku tengok cili padi ni pun geram. RM1 per peket. ikan memang la murah. sepinggan tu RM10+

+it is still the same or merchandize, and as always grab few pieces (can't help it). bought 5 sets of matching crystal brooch for fraya tapi hampeh, ambik 3 sets je! ingatkan nak banyak!+

anyway, this is not my first trip to KK. but, this is the best trip eva since i'm maximizing my stay with great dinner with su, an energyzing & pampering spa to maintain my cute lil body. and the peak of the highlight non other than (ddrummm rooolllll) when i reach home, tok mummy & family buat makan makan dinner. guess what, it nasi dagang terengganu. tak rugi bangun sebelum subuh, with the olymic swimming workout i had earlier, 2 pinggan nasi dagang memang berbaloi!! thanks everyone for having the makan makan for me...
