first family raya

this year ramadhan has been a busy one. never in my working years i went home late despite the 4pm end-office hour (the last one when i was still single, buka puasa with officemate during planning cycle-an exception la..). after assuming the recruitment planner role, of course i want to execute my first task well - recruitment budget. with the tight deadline of one week, everyday balik lewat about 6 - 6.30 pm. my pumping schedule was so irregular with me fasting, my EBM dropped dramatically. yeyen has not been that keen during day also, so i have to depend on breastfeeding him at night only. anyhow, managing the rest of other issues falling from the sky makes me a bit distracted with my core function. the team has been travelling around the globe with interviews & career fairs, so i'm left with other domestic issues that need to be addressed. sigh.. sampai baju raya pun i decided to just use the existing cotton fabric which i bought 5 years ago during my trip to islamabad. so, this year first family raya, we are in the blue team. yeyen's baju raya was a cute one. tailored sailor shirt with the dark blue check shirt. bought the material at kamdar ss2. campur upah tailor balakong, i guess hardly reaching rm 20 a piece. nanti boleh pakai with abang emmil. what a pair!!

balik kampong on sunday after settling all the raya errands on saturday. woke up at 4 am, we reached taiping by 8 am. kak sue & family was still around but about to depart to up north. syabil chicken pox has 90% gone except for the physical scar in healing process. with aiman, aizat, syahmi, syabil & najmi around, the accurate description of raya di taiping was definitely NOISY and HECTIC.

quorum tak cukup during the first raya day. but, it has been a while we take a proper family picture. nevertheless, it was still fun & enjoyable especially having yeyen's around. he has been at his good behaviour (as he always be) even with all people coming. he either play with himself in his walker cayyane or just be plain sweet with the guest carrying him. i cooked spaghetti bolognaise, chocolate brownie (better than the last one i made early ramadhan) and garlic bread. sempat jugak la sebab mak yang banyak tolong cover jaga yeyen. thanks mak yang!!
