Ramadhan 2015

Ramadan is here again and Im grateful for the opportunity to self improve myself as a Mom, a Wife, a Muslimat, a Daughter, a Friend and a Sister.

Being so good at self imposing myself with productive-induced KPI, I learnt to list down few that I have in mind, yet has not sticks naturally in me as a positive habit.

No. 1: Do more deeds, big or small.
So I joined Sentuhan Kasih including the giveaway session at Masjid Damansara Damai. Mak punya contribution pun ada. Dst mite and Ian joined me for iftar as well which is our 1st iftar outside home. Looking at the reciepient, I feel like gawd, Im so used to steel tower and RM 100-200 boleh habis sekelip mata but for these people, it means a lot.

An advice given to me which I agree is 'To know if someone has good heart and sincere, look at how the treat orang bawah like the food server, cleaner, driver. Not how they treat orang atas' . Oh my, so so true. Ya Allah, please make me belongs to those good group and may I am sincere in everything I do daily with no expectation reveivibg in return.

No 2: Listen openly, not emotionally
Well, had a 'conversation' with dst mite. So another feedback. That tone, that face. No no.  Memang punca bergaduh selalu like when Im not pleased with him keluar malam. Knowing when Im in the middle of clearing late nite dishes after a day at work, I cant pretend smiling and 'yes, you may go'. Im just tired and I want to wind down as a family. I want to continue with our bed time story routine with the eager waiting Ian. I want to have that pillow chat with the lights off til we dozed to sleep. Deep inside I meant well (and manja?), but I have to learn to give in, subject to on ocassional basis. So please, keep that in mind. Not worth the next-day morning blues post-conversation.

No 3: Gratitude to be expressed, more!
I have introduced to Ian since last year 3 best things that happen today where he shared after baca Doa sebelum tidur.  This practice rooted from gratitude, where Ian would say ' thank you Allah for the wonderful day today and a wonderful day tomorrow'. I practised the same, and want to amplify more to Dst Mite and office colleagues. I dont want missing the opportunity.

No 4: Have a productive ramadan, personal pr work
Umm... trying. Still trying
